The Torpidity promo poster project.

The Torpidity promo poster project is simply this. I went on Facebook.com and posted a status up date requesting for my friends who are artist to help us out. We had several people respond and I will be posting them as they come to us.

This one was illustrated by our new friend Casey Mosman aka Casey Bug.
Which we absolutely love. She captured the boys so well.
You can check out her portfolio (which is really good by the way)
at http://www.myspace.com/caseybugcreations

This one was illustrated by Jer Robert Paulin a good friend of ours. He is actually the original designer of our logo. This is bad ass as these boys will ever look. You can see his portfolio at http://jrpisme.com/

This one was ilustrated by Mark Baiz. I have know Mark since high school and all this time I have known him he has loved illustrating comics. He has the boys doing what they do best. You can check out his portfolio at http://www.markbaiz.carbonmade.com/

This one was Illustrated by Lindsay Gilbert. Can you guess what movie influenced this poster? You can check out her awesome portfolio at www.lindseygilbertillustration.com

We got this one a little later then the others but as you can see it has been well worth the wait. Another good friend of GSS knocked this on out of the park. This poster was Illustrated by Austin James you can see his amazing portfolio at http://austinjames.tumblr.com/ Also keep an eye out for his comic book Florida Fresh coming soon.

Mini Mega Con!!!!!

Each year Megacon is held at the Orange County Convention Center (in Orlando, FL) usually in the end of February and beginning of March. For the first time this year there is a mini Megacon this August 22 -24. Why am I writing about this? Well since we started doing our own comic books in 2002 Megacon has been our home show. Granted we have only left the state once to do a show at the Chicago convention. This Megacon will be special for many reasons. One we have more talented artist with us so you can check out and buy some original pieces and prints. Second we'll have more of the first issue finished for you to see. Third has nothing to do with us but if you're a Buffy fan like us this is a convention you do not want to miss. Miss Charisma Carpenter (Cordelia Chase - Angel, Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Emma Caulfield (Anya - Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Amber Benson (Tara Maclay - Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and last but not least Adam Busch (Warren Meers - Buffy the Vampire Slayer) to see who else will be at the con check out http://megaconvention.com/ So be sure to come and check the con and come see us in artist alley and we're lucky we will run into each other in a bar after the convention.

OK, so the guy who does not do the art really underestimated the time frame on issue one. It will take longer then I expected but that's a good thing. The book will look amazing! Clayton and Brandy are taking their time and are doing a great job. So I hope by next Megacon (sometime in March) the first issue will be done and in your hands. In the mean time here's Page 1 fully colored.
